ParsiPad is a browser extension for AI-powered Persian-English translation. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

What We Store Locally

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Your Anthropic API key - Stored securely in Chrome's local storage
• Translation history - Up to 50 recent translation entries
• Translation cache - To reduce API calls and improve performance

What We Don't Collect

We are committed to your privacy. ParsiPad:

• Does not collect any personal information
• Does not use analytics or tracking
• Does not share any data with third parties (except Anthropic for translation)

Data Transmission

When you use ParsiPad to translate text:

• Your selected text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing
• Your API key is sent with each request to authenticate with Anthropic
• Text is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's servers—we never see it

Security Measures

• All communication with Anthropic uses HTTPS encryption
• Your API key is stored in Chrome's secure local storage
• No data leaves your device except to Anthropic for translation

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• View your translation history within the extension
• Clear your translation history at any time
• Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data

Third-Party Services

ParsiPad uses Anthropic's Claude API for translations. When you translate text, it is processed by Anthropic according to their privacy policy.
